Segway® at Braxted Park – the first Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) experience centre in Essex.

Have you ever seen people gliding around on a futuristic two-wheeled machine and thought ‘What was that? I have to try it!’ Well now is your chance at the first Segway® PT experience centre in Essex, based at the Braxted Park Golf Club.

Braxted Park, situated between Chelmsford and Colchester in the picturesque Essex countryside, is located just five minutes from the A12, 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street train station and 30 minutes from London Stansted airport.

Our 500 acres of beautiful parkland provides the perfect location for your Segway® PT experience. We offer a range of Segway® PT activities and can cater for individuals, families or groups.

The Segway® at Braxted Park experience is also ideal for stag or hen parties and corporate or team building days. It makes a unique gift for a special occasion, family fun or simply to unwind after work.

Whichever you choose, a Segway® experience at Braxted Park will give you an unforgettable day that you will talk about for years to come.

Segway® PT Pay & Play

The Segway® at Braxted Park Pay and Play area is the ideal location to spend some quality time with your family.

Our specially designed circuit gives you the space to enjoy a Segway® PT experience without being disturbed.

The Segway® at Braxted Park Pay and Play is available seven days a week for £4 per 15 minutes or £15 per hour.

Segway® PT Tours

After a short training session you can join our knowledgeable tour guide on an official Segway® PT authorised tour around the Braxted Park Estate. Your group will visit historic monuments, a 700 hundred year old tree, lots of wildlife and the most beautiful lakeside view in Essex.

Our guide will bring to life the 700 year history of Braxted Park and the role it plays in the local community and heritage conservation.

Segway® at Braxted Park authorised tours are available seven days a week, and cost £15 per tour. Tours last approximately one hour which includes a short training session.

Segway® PT Games

Ready. Set. GO! The Segway® at Braxted Park games are an exciting way to have some fun after work.

Reaching speeds of up to 12mph, up to four participants at a time can battle it out to see who takes first place on the winner’s podium.

Come and compete in the Segway® PT time trial, Segway® PT relay race, Segway® PT giant egg and spoon race, Segway® PT handball.

Segway® at Braxted Park games are available seven days a week, and slots must be reserved by the hour at £15 per hour per person. For groups of 10 and more , two hours of exclusive use of all our Segway® PT machines will cost £200 and we can accommodate groups up to 20 persons at a time.

Hen or Stag parties and Corporate days
Segway® PT games provide a party with a difference for competitive hen and stag groups, as well as a fun alternative to corporate team building days.

These can be booked any time of the day or week, providing that sufficient notice is given. We can also cater for these parties with light refreshments and a bar.
(Please note that alcohol can only be consumed at the end of the Segway® at Braxted Park Experience)
