The Green is a delightful 16th century house with a wealth of exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces and antique furnishings.
It is situated in the middle of the pretty village of Wethersfield overlooking the village green and church.

Wethersfield is 7 miles from Braintree, conveniently close to Halstead, Saffron Walden and Sudbury and within easy reach of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Colchester.
Off-Street car parking available at rear.

The famously attractive village of Finchingfield is 2 miles away, Towerlands Equestrian Centre is 5 miles, Great Leighs racecourse 10 miles and the Suffolk borders and Stansted Airport are a 25 minute car ride.

Bedrooms

Room 2
Is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom facilities, bedside cabinets and lamps, wardrobe, kneehole desk, two armchairs, television & hairdryer. The bathroom has a heated towel rail and the bedroom is heated by a thermostatically controlled radiator.
An electric blanket is provided together with towels and dressing gowns.

Room 1
Is a double bedroom with twin beds, wash basin set in vanitory unit, chest of drawers, hanging rails, table lamps, television and hairdryer.
The bedroom is heated by a thermostatically controlled radiator.
An electric blanket is provided together with towels and dressing gowns.

Shower room
The private toilet and shower room, which is heated by an electric towel rail, is accessed by a short staircase.

Guest lounge
There is a guest lounge on the first landing between the bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities.
Comfortable chairs and antique furnishings.
Looking out on to the pictureque Wethersfield village green.

Garden
The garden is set to paving with steps to our entrance at the rear of property.
Guests are welcome to relax on the patio area and perhaps brave an outside breakfast.
Please note: This is the only area where smoking is allowed.

Breakfast
Room prices include a Full English breakfast.
Please indicate dietary requirements when booking.
Guests will be served in either the main dining Room with its interesting antiques and sculptures or the cosy Snug area. We find that during winter months many visitors enjoy sitting in the Snug near the wood burner fire, whist having their breakfast.
