Children's Chocolate Workshop at Marks Hall
The ladies from Chocolate Planet will be returning to hold a children's workshop. The children will be able to design their own Easter Egg to take away with them. Each session will be two hours, allowing them plenty of time to decorate their eggs. Booking is essential.

One Life One Passion
A street play bringing the true story of Easter from Jerusalem to South Woodham Ferrers.
The streets and squares of South Woodham Ferrers will see a passion with a difference on Good Friday morning, 'One Life... One Passion' is street theatre in the tradition of the Medieval York Mystery Plays. It will be performed in Trinity Square, Queen Elizabeth II Square and on the streets of the centre of South Woodham Ferrers (SWF), starting at 11am on Good Friday, 18th April 2014, in Trinity Square, SWF. This is a Passion Play with many differences. A two thousand year old story, set in the country's newest Town, it has a modern interpretation.

Day Out with Thomas - East Anglian Railway Museum
Thomas the Tank Engine and his Friends will be at the East Anglian Railway Museum over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend offering unlimited rides on at least four character trains. Thomas of course, Daisy, Toby and Henrietta, the Troublesome Trucks with Toad will all be there. The miniature railway will also be running at least two trains all day (subject to weather).

Hope Not Hate Awareness Party
This Easter Monday, Colchester Hope not Hate are sponsoring an event at Wivenhoe Football Club, to coincide with the local derby match against Stanway. After the match there will be games, free curry, a DJ and live music from local bands: Young folk band Shallow Chamber and magnificent 9 piece Ska band the Ska-Gills. The music will start around 6pm, but it's worth coming along to see the match too.
Entry to the music event is free, all are welcome.
