Southend Spring Garden Show




Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th & Monday 7th May 2012

Green fingered enthusiasts and occasional gardeners alike will find plenty of inspiration at the Southend Spring Garden Show.

Whether you have an established garden, small balcony or shady courtyard in need of a little something extra, this show will offer lots of new ideas to ensure you create the perfect sanctuary.

Can't tell your begonias from your bougainvillea? Not to worry there will be plenty of experts on hand to point you in the right direction and offer tips and advise.

Visitors can purchase a selection of beautiful plants, shrubs, trees, garden furniture, water features, pots, containers and much more at special show prices. With crafts for the home and garden, tempting food court and children’s activities, there really is something for everyone making this an ideal family day out.

Whether you are looking to create a fun space, tranquil haven, organic vegetable plot or family friendly patio, we have all the elements you need in one great location saving you time and money.

Here are just some of the things you can expect to see at the Southend Spring Garden Show:

Outdoor Shopping Village
At the heart of the show you will find the main Shopping Village with marquees (New for 2012) and outside trade area, offering everything you need to transform your garden. Here you can purchase from a huge selection of seasonal plants, shrubs and trees as well as beautiful garden furniture, water features, garden ornaments, lawnmowers and other garden tools and essentials many at special show discounted prices.

How To Zone
Another fantastic new attraction for 2012 Do you have a question about a specific garden project? Would you like to pick up tips and advice from local & national experts?
Come along to our brand new How To Zone and speak to our panel of specialist on subjects such as; landsacping advice.

Landscape & Design Zone
Visit the stunning and creative show gardens designed by local nurseries and landscapers for innovative ideas and inspiration.
We also offer space for community and student project gardens, so if you think that you could rise to the challenge and would like to take part in the show then speak to us about booking your free space today.

Floral Displays Marquee
Bursting with colour and fragrance, take a stroll through the Floral marquee for a chance to watch floristry demonstrations and buy beautiful plants and cut flowers.

Garden & Home - New For 2012
Our indoor shopping area will be full of useful garden items, indoor and outdoor plants, plus everything you could think of to turn a house into a home including bespoke furniture, kitchen design and soft furnishings.

Festival Of Food & Drink
Jam-packed with sumptuous local, national and international produce, a visit to the Food & Drink Hall is a must on every visitor's list of things to do. Choose from an extensive range of wonderful cheeses, tasty sausages, fine wines, liqueurs, pickles, chutneys and much more with many stalls offering 'try before you buy'.

Craft & Gift Village
The bustling Gift & Craft Village is the ideal place to find affordable gifts for family and friends as well as beautiful and unique items from local craftspeople. You can watch traditional craft workers as they demonstrate their remarkable skills, some may even encourage you to 'have-a-go' yourself.

Tips, Advise & Demonstrations
With green-fingered experts on hand to answer all of your gardening questions and give informative talks and demonstrations, you'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to create a stunning garden.

Children's Activities
At Aztec we like to ensure that the whole family is catered for, so at our garden show you will always find a selection of activities aimed at the younger ones. The inflatable fun zone is always a firm favourite followed by a visit to the face-painting stall.

On The Look Out For Talent
Are you a budding musician looking to be heard? We are looking for local talent to entertain the crowds at this years show. If you are part of a jazz band, classical quartet or even a solo act searching for a spotlight, we can give you the exposure you need and offer you a chance to share your gift with 20,000 people.
