The Thatchers Arms is situated on the Essex & Suffolk borders boasting stunning views over the Stour Valley. Under new ownership since November 2006, The Thatchers has steadily gained a reputation for fantastic fresh locally sourced food & a great selection of local ales.
We are passionate about everything we do. Our Chefs prepare our locally sourced menu on the premesis, from steamed puddings to steak & ale pies, real gravy, home cut chips & homemade custard. Our beers come also from local breweries; Adnams, Crouch Vale, Mersea Island and many more, even our crisps are from Wormingford, just down the hill.
