32 The Hythe

Description

Welcome to The Hythe, a tranquil setting with River Views of Thames Barges whilst lying in bed and watching the sun rise!

We have two double rooms, one with en-suite and the other with its own private bathroom, bathrobes are provided. Each room is equipped with a flat screen wall mounted TV and a seating area. Tea and Coffee making facilities are also available. If the weather is warm and you prefer this in the garden we will be happy to do this for you.

There is plenty to do and see in the area. Barge trips are available so please check out the following website (www.top-sail.co.uk) which lists sailing times. There are also river trips, again these will be tide dependant. If you have any queries and wish for us to organise any event, then please feel free to ask and we will be only too happy to assist.

Maldon is an ideal location to explore the area, with West Mersea and The Company Shed, Dengie Hundred with St. Peters Chapel and Burnham on Crouch only 10 miles away, to name but a few, or just park up and stay local as there is more than enough to wet your appetite.

We have plenty of wonderful places to eat and drink within walking distance, whether it’s a pub lunch or romantic meal, we have it all and will be happy to make a table reservation on your behalf. Alternatively if you would like a picnic lunch provided, then we can arrange for Maldon Deli to do this and deliver, with ingredients sourced locally and organic.

Price per room is £80 per night including your wonderful home cooked AGA breakfast; we accept Cards, Cash and Cheque as payment.
