Special early bird rates for the 2012 Olympics are available now at £10 per person, per night.
Standard rates are £7.50 per person, per night for adults & teens, childrens fee's range from £5 to £3.50 & foc for the under 5's. No minimal stay. Late bookings for tents usually no problem.
Easy Access to the 2012 Olympics - we are only a 5 minute drive from:
• Loughton Underground Station directly on London’s Central Line and being only18 Minutes (7 stops) from the Olympic park, Main Stadium & Aquatic Centre at Stratford. And only 6 stops to the Velodrome!
• the Central Line change at Stratford to the Docklands light railway for Greenwich the Equestrian games and Excel for the Table Tennis
• Lee Valley Olympic White Water Park at Waltham Abbey (open to the public for use now!)
• the M11 & M25 Motorways are only a 5 minute drive to Junction 26 off the M25. With easy access from Stanstead, Gatwick & Heathrow Airport’s. Plus Dover port and Dartford.
We are also only a 5 minute drive from surrounding historic market towns with superb shops, supermarkets, restaurant‘s, café’s, bars and nightlife, plus so much more. A large selection of sports and activities are closer still, as are our local village pubs, not forgetting that we are peacefully located in the heart of the beautiful 6000 acres of Epping Forest with direct forest access via our footpath. Willows offers camping with a rustic and peaceful feel set in 15 picturesque acres within the heart of the beautiful 6,000 acres of Epping Forest. Yet we're only minutes from central London making us an ideal base to visit London or for a country getaway.
An ideal location for the 2012 London Olympics being only 18 minutes from the Olympic village & main stadium at Stratford via the central line, our nearest tube station at Loughton is only a couple of miles away.
We are also on top of the white water canoe centre at Waltham Abbey, plus many other Olympic activities.
We are a superb location for riding or walking / hiking holidays, horses and dog's / pets are welcome and we can provide livery for your own horse or you can hire a horse locally.
We also hold organised events, festivals and horse shows. Pitches are available for private parties, BBQs and celebrations tailor suited to meet your individual requirements. Plus venue hire for weddings, special camp out's, festivals, private celebrations / parties, etc. Rallies and meets are also catered for.
We can accommodate large groups or individuals, different areas are allocated to suite each. young people and children are welcome. The setting is idilic for families. BBQ's and controlled fires are acceptable by arrangement.
On site facilities include mains drinking water, toilet's, shower & sink, with hot & cold water and electric.
The local village pub is approximately 100 yards away with the nearest historical market towns and a large Tesco’s / Sainsbury’s supermarket only 2 to 3 miles down the road.
There are many places of interest to visit including, London, the Olympics in 2012, the Abbey & gardens at Waltham Abbey, Queen Elizabeth hunting lodge, Dick Turpins cave, High Beach Conservation & Nature centre, many pubs, restaurants, night clubs, and entertainment. Plus sports locally especially golf, riding, fishing, swimming, sailing and so many more plus local rural pursuits.
