Set in picturesque rural Essex, Gosfield Hall is a stunning Georgian manor house offered exclusively to you for your wedding day. Formerly a Royal residence, the Queen Charlotte's Oak panelled gallery with a 120 ft long aisle is perfect for wedding ceremonies and the newly licensed carriageway is the perfect location for outdoor ceremonies on sunny days.

The Marquis of Buckingham's former ballroom provides an exquisite setting for the reception meal for up to 116 guests and there are also several grand and ornate reception rooms for you and your guests to enjoy. As we offer exclusive use of the entire house you can also invite up to 250 guests for the evening reception and party.

Civil ceremonies
At Gosfield Hall you may choose to hold your ceremony in the magnificent Queen’s Gallery, which boasts a 120 ft aisle for the Bridal entrance. The archway of the tranquil inner courtyard provides a stunning setting for an outdoor Spring or Summer wedding. Alternatively, for a more traditional ceremony or blessing, St Catherine’s church in Gosfield village is just a short a walk across the field.

Dedicated front of house manager
Gosfield Hall has a dedicated team of wedding planners to help you plan your day from the time at which you book your date until you meet your own personal Front of House Manager at your planning meeting about 10 - 12 weeks before your wedding day. Your Front of House Manager will advise you on all aspects of your day and will be with you from 9am on the morning of your wedding, to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and that every detail is attended to.

Accommodation
Gosfield Hall offers you twenty one luxury bedrooms including a Bridal Suite complete with four poster bed and spa bath. All bedrooms are exclusively reserved for you and your guests on your wedding night. An early check-in is guaranteed so that your chosen friends and family can arrive from Midday to get ready in good time for your wedding ceremony. A full English breakfast is served the following morning, providing the perfect end to your stay at Gosfield Hall.

Beautiful grounds
Gosfield Hall is set in acres of manicured croquet lawns with stunning panoramic views of Gosfield Lake which can also be seen from the Bridal Suite and many of the guest bedrooms. Across the field you can also see the village Church, St Catherine’s just a short walk away. A tranquil inner courtyard, with bright flowers and a water fountain complete with black and orange ornamental carp, provides the perfect outdoor setting for a Summer wedding.

Gosfield Hall is located in the heart of rural Essex, yet is only 30 minutes from Stansted Airport and the M11 to London.
