Jousting with the Knights of Arkely with Food & Craft Fayre at Hedingham Castle
Watch the breathtaking mounted skill at arms from an era of chivalry. Laugh with the jesting rat catcher. Enjoy ‘Have a go’ archery with the Norfolk Longbowman. Watch the remarkable birds of prey flying display. Enjoy a drink in our Castle Inn and browse through the craft and food market.

Medieval Battle & May Fayre at Hedingham Castle
Witness the sights and sounds of a time of hand to hand combat. Wander through the living history camp lines and enjoy the medieval craft stalls. Test your skill at the 'Have a go' Archery with our Norfolk Longbowmen and meet the birds of Prey. Splendour at the remarkable presence of the 110ft Norman keep whilst enjoying a drink at the Castle Inn.

We are Handmade Contemporary Summer Craft & Design Fair
This Fair will be the ideal place to find the latest in contemporary and vintage style handmade items. With over 30 stalls on the day, there will be a wide range of items ideal for the summer months, from clothes and bags to jewellery and beauty products.
Visitors can also sit down and enjoy some delicious homemade cakes with a cup of tea, all served in lovely vintage style crockery, courtesy of Plum Fairy who will be running the tearoom.

Essex Dog Day is for dog owners, enthusiasts or just families looking for a great day out.
Come along with your dog or just to enjoy the fun and the spectacle!

Take part in Hedingham’s family Christmas activities, visit Santa and browse our food and craft stalls. Enjoy a glass of our mulled wine or a bowl of homemade soup in our tea rooms.
