The Clavering Arts & Craft Show
Original Art will be exhibited and available to purchase in the main hall from Saturday 4th April to Monday 6th April 2015 from 11am to 5pm.
The Craft Marquee Saturday 4th April 11am - 5pm for the first time this year we will be hosting a Producers Village. Meet traditional farmers, kitchen table bakers, artisan chocolatiers, brewers and wine makers, and of course, sample their delicious offerings before you buy them to take home, perfect preparation for an indulgent Easter Sunday.
Sunday 5th April to Monday 6th April 11am - 5pm we will be celebrating the wonderful variety of makers, crafters, designers and producers that our area has to offer from companies that cannot be found on the high street. We believe that handmade items are keepsakes that should be treasured year after year and that the quality of craftsmanship is truly invaluable. There will also be an Easter egg hunt and other activities held for the children over the weekend, more details to follow.

Thousands are expected to flock to Lower Castle Park right in the heart of Colchester over the weekend of 18 and 19 April 2015 for the annual Town & Country Show and Oakleigh Fairs, who organise the event, say that this year the show is offering even more family entertainment than ever, including a children's farm where your little ones can meet lots of Spring baby animals!

The Essex Craft & Design Show
The Essex Craft & Design Show returns to RHS Garden Hyde Hall for its sixth year in 2015.
The show is gaining popularity with exhibitors and the public due to the quality of the work on show and the beautiful venue. Over forty artists, craftspeople and designer makers will be showcasing and selling fine art, photography, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and many more contemporary crafts. With this show taking place in the height of summer this will give you a chance not only to see some fantastic arts and crafts but also to see Hyde Hall in its full bloom. The admission price includes both entry to our show and the gardens.

Great Bardfield Village Garage Sale
Everyone is welcome to join us in Great Bardfield for our annual village garage sale.
The garage sale will be held on Saturday 9th May 2015 from 12 noon onwards. Last year there were 89 houses taking part, selling a huge variety of items. You could even buy the kitchen sink! Parking and refreshments are available. A map, showing all the sellers, is available on the day from the After School Club table on the green (outside the primary school, postcode CM7 4RN) or just stroll around the village looking for the red balloons! Temple at War Military Show
Temple at War is a brand new two day Military and Vintage Show based in the South East of England.
This unique experience will be the biggest indoor and outdoor Military Event in Essex to combine Living History Groups and the General Public. Showcasing the past 100 years of Military History, Temple at War will provide Family Entertainment, Activity and Education against the outstanding backdrop of Cressing Temple Barns, Braintree, Essex.
Visitors to The Show will experience a true taste of the past as Living History Opportunities covering WW1, WW2 and the Cold War era will be revealed and provide your family with a truly memorable day out. Be 'on guard' throughout the day as spontaneous and dramatic scenes will be re-enacted by our enthusiastic Groups from around the UK who are immersed in living the lives of 'characters past'. Join in and experience the lives of a British 'Tommy', Red Cross Nurse, Spitfire Pilot, Land Army Girl and Home Front Volunteer. Many of our groups have provided Historic Guidance, Acting Extras and Film Props to National Television Productions which include ITV's, DOWNTOWN ABBEY, the BBC's WORLD WAR ONE AT HOME live events, and internationally acclaimed Films such as FURY and WAR HORSE. As part of this fantastic show you will be able to see a host of Vintage Uniforms, Artillery, Armoured Vehicles, Cars, Jeeps, Motorbikes, Bicycles, Tents, Equipment, Photographic History and much, much, more! Collectors and Shoppers will have an opportunity to browse the inside and outside stalls packed full of military interest for the Keen Enthusiast or Bargain Hunter. Period Music, Dance and Entertainment will be accompanied by Vintage Refreshment stands including Themed Beverages, Cakes, Sweets and Retro Food at very reasonable prices. The site has free parking and space for over 2,800 vehicles and excellent disabled facilities, so bring your friends and family. From the minute you time warp into "Temple at War" you will be immersed in a bygone world. As soon as you walk on site, history will unfold before your eyes. Why not attend the show in period costume and bring your camera for unprecedented photographic opportunities? You will not only experience Military History as Cressing Temple is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, you will be able to visit Two Grade I listed Medieval Barns housing agricultural exhibitions, one of which is the oldest standing timber-framed Barn in the World. This is a full day's family entertainment with activities from start to finish for you to enjoy. Allow yourself enough time to walk amongst and engage with the Living History Groups, sit and absorb the atmosphere at the many seating areas, or join in and sing along with the Entertainment. Chelmsford Mind Body Spirit Festival
This event is in aid of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
Over 70 stands at this huge event; plus 21 talks & workshops, many stage performances too bringing all that's best in MBS UK to Essex. With International TV Psychics & Clairvoyants Sue Hudd, Maureen Flynn, Melayne Stone. Many free workshops & talks by inspirational speakers Lucinda Drayton, Barbara Meiklejohn-Free, Stephanie King & others.
In addition: Meditation Room / Aura Photos / Wellbeing therapies; Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki, Crystal healing / Stage Performances / Empowered Healing Space / Oils & Incense / Mystic Art / Spiritual Gifts / Food & Refreshments / Crystals & Gems The main stage will play host to demonstrations and performances from, Lucinda Drayton, Barbara Meiklejohn-Free, Kula Tribal Belly Dance and composer and pianist Ian Haywood, to name but a few.

The Essex Craft & Design Show
The Essex Craft & Design Show will be hosting its annual event at Cressing Temple barns at the end of September.
Craftsmen and designer makers will be showcasing and selling their work which will include fine art, photography, jewellery, ceramics and many other contemporary crafts. Not only is this an opportunity to view and buy work direct from the craftsman or designer maker, it is also a chance to visit these wonderful 13th century barns. The admission also includes entrance to the barns, grounds and Tudor walled gardens.
