Description
Main information point for Epping Forest and the place to go for the full range of booklets and guides to the Forest and to buy your Horse Riding Licence.
The shop area has lots of woodland based toys, gifts and greetings cards as well as hand-turned bowls made from Epping Forest wood.
Open Summer (Apr-Sept) 7 days a week from 10am-5pm & Winter (Oct-March) 7 days a week, 10am-3pm.
Open all Bank Holidays excluding Christmas Day.
Epping Forest is the largest public open space in the London area, at almost 6,000 acres. It stretches 12 miles from Manor Park in East London to just north of Epping in Essex. As well as being a popular area for recreation and enjoyment it is also of national and international conservation importance with two thirds of it being designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
