Museum of Power

Description

The Museum of Power is located in a former steam pumping station at Langford near Maldon. There are extensive power themed exhibits and interactive displays. The museum is set in extensive wooded grounds beside a river. There is a miniature steam railway which operates on the first sunday each month and at special events.

The museum aims to provide an entertaining and educational environment in which to explore our use of power. The museum presents fascinating working examples of machinery, equipment and tools which have been used to develop the industrial and social conditions we enjoy today.
