Description

Lodge coaches operate a varied fleet of coaches from our depot in High Easter and are situated close to Stansted Airport. The new coaches are used primarily for our holiday and excursion programmes but can be hired for group holidays and private hire.

We also operate a fleet of school buses many with seat belts suitable for local trips for schools and sports groups.

Then there is our preserved collection all with tachographs, so available to hire for special occasions, weddings and film location hire.

We are very much a family business with a long history, dating back to 1920, when a service from High Easter to Chelmsford was operated, using a converted Model T Ford, this service is still running today using a more modern vehicle.

Today Lodge Coaches are a leading operator in the county of Essex, having received numerous awards for our brochures and coaches both new & vintage.

We operate from our own purpose built premises with offices, workshop, bodyshop and vehicle storage areas and are based in the village of High Easter which is situated approximatly midway between Chelmsford county town of Essex and Stansted Airport only one hour from London.
