Winner of Wedding Ideas Magazine 'Best Wedding Venue' two years running (2007 & 2008), this magnificent Tudor mansion is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the country and has nearly twenty years of experience in providing perfect wedding days. Set in 40 acres of parkland, complete with lakes, lawns and a sweeping driveway, Leez Priory is offered to you exclusively for your wedding day.

Civil ceremonies
Civil ceremonies can be performed in any of five licensed settings including the stunning Great Tower which stands adjacent to the main house and outside beneath the carriageway for a truly unique setting. The stunning Great Hall can seat up to 80 guests for the Wedding breakfast and the newly converted Coach House can seat up to 110 guests. As we offer exclusive use of the entire house you can also invite up to 250 guests for the evening reception and party.

Dedicated front of house manager
Leez Priory has a dedicated team of wedding planners to help you plan your day from the time at which you book your date until you meet your own personal Front of House Manager at your planning meeting about 10 - 12 weeks before your wedding day. Your Front of House Manager will advise you on all aspects of your day and will be with you from 9am on the morning of your wedding, to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and that every detail is attended to.

Accommodation
Leez Priory offers you fifteen sumptuous bedrooms including a Bridal Suite complete with four poster bed and spa bath. All bedrooms are exclusively reserved for you and your guests on your wedding night. An early check-in is guaranteed so that your chosen friends and family can arrive from Midday to get ready in good time for your wedding ceremony. A full English breakfast is served the following morning, providing the perfect end to your stay at Leez Priory.

Bridal cottage
What better way to start your day than arriving the night before! Our Lakeside cottage is reserved exclusively for the Bride and Bridal Party from 5pm the night before the wedding. We can arrange a party menu and wine for your arrival and a selection of girly DVDs and CDs are available for you so that you can really enjoy your last night of freedom! You might even decide to arrange for a beautician from our recommended list to meet you at the Cottage the night before or the following morning for some pampering in preparation for your big day!
One of the best things about staying in the Lakeside cottage is the view from your bedroom window - waking up to views of Leez Priory's Great Tudor Tower is the perfect start to a perfect day! Breakfast is also provided for you may decide to get ready in the Lakeside cottage or move to the dressing rooms, situated int the main house from 9am to get ready. The dressing rooms overlook the inner courtyard and so you can watch your guests arriving for your wedding day!

Leez Priory is located in the heart of rural Essex, yet is only 15 minutes from Chelmsford and the M11 to London.
