Southend Summercare Carnival Procession 2012
Southend Summercare Carnival Procession 2012 will be in the afternoon on 23 June, in order that it can be part of Southend’s preparations for the 2012 Olympics.
The Southend Summercare Carnival will be a late afternoon procession as in previous decades. It will be part of a new Southend Community Event to be launched at the end of February.
Other events including the Dog Show, Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Children’s Fancy Dress will be held on 17th June with the Junior Prince and Princess Competition on the 23rd June just before the procession. Final details of the Southend Summercare Carnival Procession route and which organisations Carnival will be supporting will be announced in the coming weeks.
