Calcott Hall is a family run business and our aim is to provide a pleasant and friendly shopping experience, very different from large supermarkets. We grow a wide range of vegetables and fruit and source locally whenever possible. We stock products from the Taste of Anglia food group and select for taste and quality.

With over 30 different crops grown on the farm the emphasis is on freshness and quality. Produce we don’t grow on the farm is sourced locally where possible, such as our English apples from Chelmsford and fresh herbs from a nursery just down the road.

The distance food travels before you pick it up in our farm shop is very important to us. So we have clearly labelled all of our British products . All our home grown produce is also clearly marked – see if you can taste the difference!

At Calcott Hall we now have a top quality butcher to provide you with all the different cuts of meat that you want, and more importantly the knowledge to cook it right!
