Description

Little Lampetts is a secluded period country house dating back some 400-500 years and is listed as being of architectural and historic interest. The house stands in fourteen acres of its own land and is surrounded by open countryside.

Tucked away from traffic within totally secluded private land, Little Lampetts is still within easy reach of three mainline railway stations, the M25, M11, the A12, A128 and A414. Brentwood, Ingatestone and Ongar are 10 minutes drive and we are approximately 25 minutes from Stansted Airport.

Little Lampetts has been featured in the magazine 'Period Living And Traditional Homes' and we have been awarded three Diamonds by Visit Britain.

We are located one mile from the village of Blackmore which has been voted 'Best Village in the South East' many times and has three pubs all offering excellent food. The area also boasts many designated walks as well as golf, swimming, fishing and riding facilities.

Little Lampetts has two twin rooms with television, radio alarm, hair dryer and basin. The rooms share a large bathroom.

Prices are from £35.00 per person per night inclusive of breakfast. Long stay guests price by arrangement.

All the rooms are heavily beamed and tastefully furnished and have far-reaching views of the open countryside.

The house has a very friendly feeling. A cooked or light breakfast can be eaten in the country kitchen with food prepared on the Aga or in the dining room. Evening meals by arrangement.

Guests can use the downstairs sitting room which is heated by a log fire in the colder months.
