Set in a rural location on the Essex/Hertfordshire border we are still only a short distance away from Stansted Airport, the M11 motorway and the main line rail connection to London Liverpool Street Station.

Little Hallingbury Mill is an ideal venue for getaway breaks, business meetings, dinners, weddings and parties for special occasions.

With prices starting from only £34.50 per night we offer 21 rooms of different sizes from singles to family rooms in the Mill and the separate Mill House building. Rooms in our Grade II listed building offer a superb view be it the water meadow beyond the bridged stream, the mill pond, or the colourful marina with its privately owned narrow boats and other craft.
All rooms are en-suite, with televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.

Our restaurant, offering a choice of freshly prepared English food served in generous portions at reasonable prices, is open to residents and non residents for lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm daily and every evening 7pm to 9.00pm. For resident guests arriving later than 9.00pm we will provide a light meal menu.

Our licensed bar, which serves a selection draft beer, lager, wine, spirits and some of Britain's best bottled fine ales and ciders, is open to guests and restaurant diners only.

Our peaceful rural location, near to major transport links, allows couples to get away from it all and enjoy each others company without having to travel for hours to find some much treasured privacy. The availability of 3 attractive riverside walks starting from the Mill and the cosy atmosphere of our bistro dining area also help to create a romantic environment. We are frequently thrilled to find that couples chose to use their stay at the Mill as the time to make and accept proposals of marriage.

If you choose Little Hallingbury Mill as your venue for a wedding, party or function our one and only aim is to ensure your special day is really special. With a peaceful rural location our picturesque building provides a beautiful and intimate setting for a day to remember. Little Hallingbury Mill can accommodate up to 40 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast or party and 60 for an evening reception or buffet style wedding breakfast.
