Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July 2012 from 10.00am to 5.00pm at Cressing Temple Barns, Cressing, Nr Braintree, Essex

Welcome to the second year of the Essex Festival of Food and Drink where we will be celebrating the quality, variety and abundance of food and drink local to Essex and East Anglia.

Celebrity chefs Gino D'Acampo, Aldo Zilli and Essex's very own celebrity chef Mark Baumann of Baumanns Brasserie in Coggeshall will be demonstrating at the cookery theatre over the weekend.

This is a food lovers event where we will showcase an eclectic mix of foodie attractions to ensure that everyone's interests are catered for, such as celebrity chef demonstrations alongside our top local chefs. There will be butchery demonstrations, wine tastings from local wine merchants and over 100 exhibitor stands.

At The Love Food, Hate Waste cookery theatre we will teach you how to love your leftovers and save money with Recycle for Essex‘s Love Food Hate Waste campaign.

The very popular outdoor Food Court will once again offer up a wide selection of food and drinks for visitors to enjoy whilst at the festival and live music will set the scene for a great gastro experience.

Advance tickets will be on sale via the festival web site from 1st March where great savings can be made. Ticket prices include entry to all areas of the festival and to all celebrity chef demonstrations.
